How is the Ulthera SMAS lifting is perfomed?
Let us dwell in more detail on the features of the technology. Ulthera’s SMAS lifting is performed using a device that generates narrowly focused pulses in the ultrasonic range. This radiation penetrates under the skin to a predetermined depth in such a way as to act only on the aponeurotic layer. We emphasize that only certified original equipment and highly qualified specialists are required to perform the Ulthera procedure.
The device is equipped with special nozzles, with the help of which the depth of exposure is regulated. The power is selected individually for each patient, depending on the type of skin and its condition, the area of correction.
Carrying out SMAS-lifting of Ulthera takes place in the following order:
- Examination and cleansing of the skin, applying special marks.
- Treatment of the skin in the affected area with an anesthetic (optional).
- The work of the emitter along the massage lines to the depth of the aponeurotic layer.
- Visual evaluation of the result.
The duration of the session is individual, usually about an hour. On more mature skin, the procedure will take longer, up to 90-120 minutes.

There are no contraindications for older people, however, the reaction of the body will not be so pronounced.
